If you’re familiar with the recent and horrifying news alerts of cannibalism, you may be wondering if a science-fiction style zombie apocalypse has started. While it’s safe to assume we won’t ever see a zombie apocalypse, we’re well equipped to survive one if it did occur. See our just-for-fun guide to zombie survival below, and learn how to evade the undead through camouflage.
Most people assume the safest way to survive a true zombie apocalypse if it were to occur is to pack enough survival gear, form a band of survivors, and have enough weapons to fight off a horde of zombies.
While this is a noble plan, zombies will never stop coming, and you’ll run out of resources before you can fight off an entire horde. Even if you have a fortress staked out, you’ll eventually run out of food and water, and will be trapped while surrounded by a monstrous undead horde. Instead of fighting the horde, why not blend in with them?
How To Survive the Zombie Apocalypse
Have you ever noticed how zombies travel in packs, and never attack each other? While zombies may not be super intelligent, they at least have enough brains left to know what is and what isn’t a zombie. So instead of constantly running away and fighting zombies, grab some makeup, some blood, and try our zombie contacts to blend in with the other zombies. As they always say, if you can’t beat them, join them!
Of course, there may be a few zombies that may not see you as “one of them” and decide to attack. In this instance, you still need a weapon to defend yourself with that wont’ draw attention from the entire pack. Anything small and quiet is the best option to defend yourself with, since you need to be quick and inconspicuous in defending yourself.
Our best advice is to not corner yourself anywhere. If you don’t have a way out, even if the zombies can never get to you, they will wait longer than you will leaving you trapped and helpless. If you do decide to set up a base, make sure to set up a secret escape route so you can evacuate when necessary.
Of course… since a zombie apocalypse will never happen, you can always have fun and dress up as a zombie for a party, for Halloween, or any other undead occasion. Our zombie-themed contact lenses are the perfect accessory to put your costume over the top.
As is true with all lenses, our zombie contacts require a prescription from your eye-doctor. Once you have a prescription, we offer some of the best prices on costume contacts along with a quick and easy ordering process, and over 15 years of customer service excellence.
