FSA – Changes in 2011

by Pete@Aclens on December 11, 2010

As part of the healthcare changes enacted this year, there will be changes to Flex Spending Accounts (FSAs) in 2011. In particular, it will no longer be possible to use FSA dollars to buy over the counter medications. However, the good news is that contact lenses and cleaning solutions will still be eligible. As always, you should check carefully to make sure that you spend all your 2010 dollars by December 31st if that is a requirement of your plan.
