Lady Gaga Contact Lenses

by ACLens Bob on July 7, 2010

News reports recently have been discussing the growing epidemic brought on by Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance music video, which includes giant doll eyes that were created with a computer.

Teenagers and Lady Gaga fans are trying to replicate the look with over-the-counter cosmetic contact lenses. Not only are these decorative contact lenses illegal, they are extremely unsafe and can cause scratches on the cornea, corneal ulcers, and blindness.

Teenagers and parents should be aware that contact lenses are a medical device and need to be fitted and cared for properly to avoid doing serious damage to your vision health. See your eye doctor yearly and never purchase non-prescription contact lenses.

You can touch up a photo of yourself to get the Lady Gaga look without the associated vision health risks of circle contact lenses. Watch this tutorial on YouTube that explains how to recreate the Lady Gaga look on your own picture as was done in the music video.
