Ciba has launched a new daily disposable contact lens – Dailies Aqua Comfort. According to Ciba, this is a premium product intended to supplement their array of daily disposable contacts, rather than to replace the existing Focus Dailies contact lens. The lens comes in a different base curve (8.7 versus 8.6 for Focus Dailies) and a new prescription is required to convert from Focus Dailies to Dailies Aqua Comfort.
